A small waste incineration plant in Ansanmenxia, Henan Province is a new type of environmental protection enterprise, which mainly undertakes the centralized incineration and treatment of domestic waste in the county. However, the implementation of this project must ensure that the environmental protection enterprise does not produce secondary pollution during the production process, and ultimately achieve the goal of tail water purification and reuse, solid and liquid dry discharge and secondary utilization. However, the main difficulty in the treatment of leachate from a waste incineration plant is that the leachate contains pollutants such as oil and heavy metals. The water content in the leachate accounts for about 50%, and most of the remaining substances are kitchen waste, which contains a lot of oily substances and produces odor after fermentation. In particular, leachate is a hazardous substance, and its treatment and discharge requirements are strict, which is also the focus of the current environmental protection department.
After investigation, considering that the scale of the plant is not very large, the Beibang Laboratory team recommended the use of a plate and frame filter press to meet the needs. The plate and frame filter press has a relatively simple structure, is relatively easy to operate, and has a relatively stable operation, convenient maintenance, and strong adaptability to materials, which can just meet the characteristics of complex and uncertain composition of domestic waste.
In order to ensure the smooth implementation of this project, Beibang sent a special person to guide the installation process of the filter press, and at the same time ensure that the staff of the waste incineration plant can operate the filter press skillfully until all the work is completed and the filter press is operating normally before leaving.
